Methodology & sources
Sections and chapters transcribed from the Algerian customs tariff nomenclature, which follows the Harmonized System structure. No duty rate is published here: the base schedule is ordonnance 01-02 of 20 August 2001, which predates the machine readable Journal officiel corpus that starts in 2002, and finance acts amend it by difference without restating it. Rates also vary within one six digit subheading, so a chapter level rate does not exist.
