Custom web, mobile and software development in Algeria

In Algeria the published floors of UpGrowth are 50,000 DA for a landing page, 250,000 DA for a professional presentation site, 400,000 DA for a mobile app published on both stores, 500,000 DA for a web platform, 500,000 DA for a CRM and 1,000,000 DA for management software, with the firm price coming out of the cahier des charges. We build websites, online stores, mobile applications, platforms and business software for companies established in Algeria and for foreign companies setting up here. You do not have to take our word for any of it: the site you are reading is one of our projects, and everything it does is open and testable.

1. What we build

Five families of project. Each has its own page, answering the questions a buyer in Algeria actually asks: what is included, who holds what, how you get paid, what has to be declared.

2. Our proof is this site

Client projects, with their address

Before this site, here is work delivered for clients. Each project opens in a new tab, with no account and no password.

See the detail of each project

Most development pages assert a capability. This one gives you an address. upgrowth.dz is not a template rented from a supplier: it is our own application, designed, written, deployed and maintained by us, and everything it does is running in front of you right now.

  • A full-text search engine over the Algerian Journal officiel, searching inside the text of the issues and ranking by relevance, with no search server behind it.
  • A search over the activity codes of the trade register that ignores accents, understands words in any order and folds the writing variants of Arabic script.
  • Contribution and tax calculators that display the rate applied, the base and the total as separate fields, with the regulatory reference they stand on.
  • Thousands of pages generated at build time, which appear without waiting for any server computation.
  • Three complete editions, including an Arabic one where the whole interface genuinely flips.

Each of those five lines corresponds to a page you can open right now, with no account and no password.

Open demonstrations, made to be driven on a phone

Beyond this site, we built applications that each take a concrete problem and handle it end to end: searching a 50,000 item catalogue while you type, running a delivery round with the network cut, keeping stock correct across two shops, taking payment with one hand. Each one opens on a phone, with no account and no install. The businesses in them are invented and the data is generated: these are demonstrations, not client projects, and nothing you type into one leaves your browser.

DemonstrationA 50,000 item catalogue, searched with no waitYou type and the list narrows as you type, including when you misspell the word. Search answers in French and in Arabic, filters and sorting combine, and nothing travels to a server: the whole index is built inside the visitor's browser.DemonstrationTraining centre back office, in ArabicEnrolments, groups, attendance and payments, with an Arabic interface where the whole layout mirrors: navigation, tables, directional icons, Arabic alphabetical sorting and the choice of digits. The same application switches to French without losing anything.DemonstrationDelivery round that works with no networkA driver marks stops, records cash and attaches a photo while the connection is down. Everything queues on the device, survives closing the app, then goes out when the network returns. When two versions of the same stop conflict, the screen shows them field by field and lets you decide.DemonstrationA small shop till, worked with one handTake payment, apply a discount, give change and produce a ticket, on a phone and with one hand. Amounts are held as whole centimes so no rounding can drift, the close of day counts the notes one by one before announcing the difference, and the page shows its own weight instead of promising it is light.DemonstrationYour Excel file becomes a dashboardDrop a real sales or stock file. The page reads the columns, names what is wrong with them with the exact count for each case (dates written several different ways in one column, amounts glued to their currency, duplicates, unreadable cells), builds a filterable dashboard, then hands you the cleaned file back. Cut the network before dropping the file: everything still works, because the file never leaves your device.DemonstrationAppointment booking that refuses conflicts and says whyThree workshop bays, four technicians with their own qualifications, the midday break, a closed Friday and the clean up time between two jobs. Every impossible attempt is refused with its reason written in plain words, and the screen immediately offers the nearest slots that would pass. One tab invites you to try to break it.DemonstrationOne application seen by four different peopleThe owner, a shop manager, a cashier and the accountant open the same sales and do not see the same thing. The cashier has no cost or margin columns: they are absent from the table, not merely hidden. An export produces only the rows that person is entitled to, and every refusal is written to the log with the rule that produced it.DemonstrationStock across two shopsGoods in, goods out and transfers between two shops, with stock in transit counted separately rather than lost, a stocktake that writes a reasoned adjustment instead of erasing a line, and a balance recomputed from the movements.

3. How a project runs

The sequence is the same whatever the project. It is designed so that you see something working early, and so that you can stop at the end of any batch without losing everything.

  1. 1. Scoping

A conversation about what you do, what costs you time today, and what a visible improvement would look like. It ends with a written scope: what the software will do, what it will not do, and in which order.

  2. 2. Screens and journeys

Before any code is written, you see the screens and the path a user will take. That is the cheapest moment to change your mind, and we push you to change it there rather than at acceptance.

  3. 3. Development in batches

The project is cut into deliverable batches. At the end of each one you receive a version you can open and use, not a screenshot and not a percentage of progress.

  4. 4. Acceptance on your data

We test with your real products, your real customers and your real awkward cases. Software that only works on demonstration data is not software that works.

  5. 5. Going live

Hosting, domain name, certificate, backups, audience measurement. We tell you which of these is in your name and which is in ours, before going live rather than after.

  6. 6. Handover and after

You receive the code, the credentials and documentation of what was built. Then you choose: continue with us, continue alone, or hand the rest to someone else. None of those three should cost you the project.

Talk about your projectDescribe what you need to work. We tell you what is feasible and where to start.Describe my project

4. What you own at the end

This is the question nobody asks at the start and everybody regrets not asking. Our answer is written into the contract, not into a conversation:

  • The source code of the project belongs to you and is handed over.
  • The domain name is registered in your name, not ours.
  • Access to the hosting, the database and the analytics tools is yours.
  • App store publishing accounts are opened in your company's name.
  • Documentation of what was built is handed over with the code.
  • You can move to another supplier without having to rebuild from scratch.

If a supplier will not tell you plainly which of those six items is in their name, that refusal is the most useful information they will ever give you.

5. The Algerian constraints we handle

An imported template ignores half of what matters here. These are the points that sink projects, not the choice of framework.

Getting paid online

Cash on delivery, CIB card, EDAHABIA: each option has its own conditions, timelines and counterparties. We describe the landscape and tell you what we can integrate, without promising an integration we have not built.

Invoicing without mistakes

The mandatory details of an Algerian invoice are not negotiable. Software done properly makes it impossible to omit one, rather than relying on the attention of whoever is typing.

Slow connections and outages

A share of your users will be on an unstable mobile connection. That is a design decision: what loads, when, and what keeps working when the network drops.

Arabic and right to left

Arabic needs a genuine flip of the interface, not a translation dropped onto a French layout. It is the point where most trilingual projects give up.

Hosting and domain names

A .dz domain and an international domain do not carry the same formalities or the same lead times. We tell you which fits your situation and what each one implies.

Migrating what you already have

Your data is already somewhere: a spreadsheet, an old program, paper ledgers. Migration is a piece of work in its own right, and underestimating it is the most common cause of a failed start.

6. How the price is built

Our floors are public: 50,000 DA for a landing page, 250,000 DA for a professional presentation site, 400,000 DA for a mobile app published on both stores, 500,000 DA for a platform, 500,000 DA for a CRM and 1,000,000 DA for management software. The firm price comes out of the cahier des charges. Each is a floor and not an estimate of your project, because what drives the cost is not the number of pages. Here is what actually drives it:

UpGrowth published price floors for development work in Algeria, in Algerian dinars.
ServicePublished floorMaximum deliveryWhat that floor covers
Landing page50,000 DA24 hoursA single page.
Professional presentation site250,000 DA1 weekStructure worked out with you, mockup approved before development, pages built to measure, working forms, full go-live with domain, hosting, certificate, sitemap and Search Console, then handover of the accounts.
Mobile app, Android and iOS400,000 DA12 weeksWritten scoping, approved mockups, development, developer accounts opened in your name, submission to both stores and handling of the review feedback.
Custom web platform500,000 DA4 weeksWritten scoping, data model, accounts and permissions, the screens of the main journey, a dashboard, and deployment on hosting in your name.
Custom CRM500,000 DA12 weeksWritten scoping, prospect and customer records, the stages of your sales cycle, follow-ups, permissions per salesperson, a monthly tracking dashboard, and deployment on hosting in your name.
Custom management software1,000,000 DA12 weeksWritten scoping, migration of your existing data, entry and lookup screens, permissions per role, the reports you need at closing, and deployment on hosting in your name.
Each amount is a floor and each delivery time a maximum for the scope described on the same row. The firm price and the firm delivery date come out of the cahier des charges: on a very specific development neither the price nor the time has a ceiling.
The number of distinct journeys the software has to handle, far more than the number of screens.
Links to what exists: data migration, connection to another tool, import of a historical file.
The number of languages, and whether right to left Arabic is among them.
Roles and permissions: a tool ten people use differently costs more than a tool with one use.
Whatever has to be auditable or traceable, because that means keeping a history rather than overwriting.
What you want to be able to change yourself after delivery, without calling us.

In practice: scoping is what turns your need into a written scope, and the quote covers that scope. You know what you are committing to, and so do we.

7. Frequent questions

What proves you can actually build software?

The site you are reading. It is our project, it is complete and it is open: a full-text search engine over the Journal officiel, a search over the trade register activity codes, regulatory calculators, thousands of pages generated at build time, three editions including a right to left Arabic one. Open our work page and every item comes with its address.

How much does a website or software cost in Algeria?

It depends on the number of journeys to handle, the links to your existing tools, the languages, the user roles and the migration of your data. The floor depends on the service and is stated on each page. The quote follows scoping and covers a written scope you have approved.

How long does a software development project take?

We publish a maximum delivery time per project type: 24 hours for a landing page, one week for a presentation site, four weeks for a web platform, and twelve weeks for a mobile app, a CRM or management software. Those are maximums for the scope described in our price table. The firm date comes out of the cahier des charges, and on a very specific development it has no ceiling.

Do I own the code?

Yes. The source code is handed over, the domain name is registered in your name, and the hosting and database credentials are yours. You can continue with another supplier without rebuilding from scratch.

Which technologies do you work with?

The ones you can watch running on this site: React for interfaces, static page rendering at build time, Go on the server side, PostgreSQL for data, Python for file processing. The choice is made at scoping according to your project and to who will maintain it afterwards.

Can you take over a project somebody else started?

Often yes, and it always starts with a review of the existing code and credentials before any commitment. Sometimes taking it over costs more than starting cleanly, and in that case we say so rather than discovering it halfway through.

Do you handle hosting as well?

Yes, and we explain what is put in place, in whose name, and what it costs per year. You must be able to take control of it at any time.

Do you work with foreign companies?

Yes. A share of the people we work with are foreign companies setting up in Algeria or already operating here. Remote work is no obstacle, in French, English or Arabic.
