What the licence covers

  • Official business and legal data of Africa and the Middle East.
  • Structured, cited to its source and refreshed.
  • Licensed for grounding, retrieval and evaluation of AI systems.
  • Also licensed for compliance and accounting products.
  • Live today: Algeria, Tunisia and one more North African country.
  • Other regions are in preparation. They are not part of the offer until they are live.

What is inside today

In Algeria:

  • The Journal officiel from 1962 to 2026, with the full text of each act and links to the official issue and PDF.
  • The six 2026 tax codes of the Direction generale des impots, article by article.
  • The CNRC and ANAE activity nomenclatures.
  • Tax rates, VAT regimes, the filing calendar and social contributions.
  • Company legal forms with the State fees, and support schemes.
  • Customs tariff sections and chapters.
  • Wilayas, dairas and communes with postal data, and institutions.

Tunisia and the third live country: gazette indexes (JORT from 1956, Bulletin officiel from 1912), activity nomenclatures, legal forms and fees, tax rates, social contributions, institutions, customs sections and chapters, and auto-entrepreneur regimes.

What is not in the offer

  • No court decisions.
  • No circulars.
  • No consolidated versions yet.
  • No OHADA, Egypt, Gulf, Nigeria or Kenya data.
  • No customs duty rates.

Provenance on every record

Each record carries:

  • The source act.
  • The gazette, the issue and the page.
  • The official URL.
  • The reading method.

A figure that is not verified is labelled as such.

How the Journal officiel was read

  • 1962 to 2001: read from the scans by three independent machine readings. A word is kept when two readings agree. Open passages are marked and counted.
  • 2002 to 2026: taken from the text of the official PDFs.
  • Texts are as published. They are not consolidated.

Delivery

  • Bulk JSON Lines, by country and dataset, in UTF-8.
  • Also through the data API and the MCP server.
