UpGrowth releases the first open database of Algerian business activities: 2,129 CNRC codes, 1,491 ANAE activities, 58 wilayas covered Algiers, May 11, 2026. UpGrowth, an Algerian platform supporting entrepreneurs, today launches the largest open database of business activities in Algeria. The tool aggregates 2,129 codes from the official CNRC nomenclature (with approval status: regulated, free, or blocked), 1,491 ANAE activities eligible for self-entrepreneur status, and verified contact details of CNRC, CASNOS, and NESDA offices across all 58 wilayas. The tool offers instant trilingual search (French, English, Arabic), filtering by sector, status, or supervisory authority, plus official calculators for CASNOS, IFU, and business creation costs, based on the 2026 Finance Law. "Our goal is to reduce time and uncertainty between idea and incorporation," says the UpGrowth team. "Today, an Algerian entrepreneur spends weeks understanding which codes apply, which approvals are required, which notary to engage. With this free tool, those answers take 5 seconds." All data is released under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (CC BY 4.0), allowing reuse by media, researchers, and other platforms, with citation of upgrowth.dz as source.
