Domiciliation is the assignment of a legal administrative address to a company or sole proprietor. This address appears on the Commercial Registry, on the statutes, on the tax card (NIF), and on all official documents. It is distinct from the operating address (workshop, store, worksite) when the activity allows.

2. Legal framework, what Algerian law says
Business domiciliation is governed by two main texts: Article 549 ter of the Algerian Code of Commerce (introduced by Law 96-27) and Law 91-08 of 27 April 1991 on the profession of chartered accountant, auditor and certified accountant. Executive Decree 11-43 specifies the licensing conditions for domiciliation centers.
