The complete guide to filling in the CNRC name reservation form and obtaining your negative certificate in Algeria in 2026. The Sijilcom platform, the steps, the required documents, the grounds for refusal to avoid. The first building block of any company creation.
The name reservation form (or 'application for a negative certificate') is the official document used to reserve the trade name of your future company with the Centre National du Registre du Commerce (CNRC). This step is the very first one when creating a company in Algeria.
Once your application is approved, the CNRC issues a negative certificate: the official statement that the chosen name is not already in use and that it is reserved for you for 6 months (renewable once).
