Software development outsourcing to a team in Algiers
UpGrowth builds software for companies based outside Algeria, from Algiers: web platforms, SaaS products, internal tools, mobile apps and multilingual sites, Arabic included. Before any quote, you get a written scope of what will be built and what will not. At the end, the source code, the hosting accounts and the data are in your name, not ours. We work in English and French, on UTC+1 all year round.
1. What we build for companies abroad
The work that reaches us from outside Algeria falls into a few families. Each one is something this team builds and runs, and the proof section further down links to pieces you can open yourself.
Web platforms and SaaS products
Accounts, roles, dashboards, and the rules that keep data right when two people act at once. The product your users log into, from the first version to the one that scales.
Internal tools and back offices
A CRM, an operations dashboard, an admin area that replaces the spreadsheet your team has outgrown. Built around how your people actually work.
Mobile apps, Android and iOS
From approved mockups to submission in both stores, with the developer accounts opened in your name.
Multilingual products, Arabic included
French, English and Arabic editions, with the right to left layout designed in from the start rather than mirrored at the end. This site is built that way.
Search and data tools
Fast search over large catalogues or document archives, tolerant of typing mistakes, running in the browser. Two of them are live on this site.
AI features that stay supervised
Assistants that answer your visitors and route their requests, and drafting tools where a person reviews before anything is sent. The assistant in the corner of this page is one.
2. Why a team in Algeria
Distance is the usual cost of outsourcing: hours that never overlap, meetings in a language nobody is fluent in, a team you can never meet. Algiers removes most of it.
Your working hours
Algeria is on UTC+1 all year round, with no daylight saving. That is the same time as Paris, Berlin, Madrid or Rome in winter, one hour behind them in summer, and the same time as London in summer.
Your language
Calls, written scopes and documentation in English or French. Arabic is a working language here too, for the products that need it.
Close enough to meet
A short flight from most European capitals. If you want to sit down with the people building your product, you can.
Local knowledge if you sell in Algeria
Building for Algerian users has its own constraints. Online card payment goes through SATIM and needs the merchant's own bank contract and approval, Arabic has to read right to left, and many users are on modest mobile connections. The written scope plans for all three.
3. When this is the right fit
It works best in the situations below. If yours is not on the list, describe it anyway: the first call is free.
- You have a product or a tool to build, and you would rather hand it to one team than assemble freelancers.
- Your startup needs a first version in production before it hires its own engineers.
- Your agency has more projects than developers and needs a team that delivers under your brand.
- Your product has to exist in Arabic, or in French and English, and properly.
- You are entering the Algerian market and your product has to work for Algerian users.
- You have existing code that nobody on your side maintains anymore.
4. How an engagement runs
The same five steps on every project, whatever its size. Nothing is built before it is written down.
1. A free 30 minute call
You explain the outcome you want. We ask what a quote would otherwise leave out: users, data, integrations, deadlines, what already exists.
2. A written scope
We write down what will be built, what will not, and every decision that has to be settled before any code. You correct it until it says what you meant.
3. A firm quote in milestones
The price and the schedule come out of the scope, split into milestones you can check. If the scope changes later, the change is written and priced before it is built.
4. Working software at each milestone
At the end of each milestone you open the work on a test address and use it. You judge software, not slides.
5. Launch and handover
Deployment on hosting in your name, then the source code, the documentation and a guide to the admin area. Maintenance afterwards if you want it, or your own team takes over.
5. What you own at the end
Nothing that runs your product stays in our name.
- The complete source code, in a repository you have access to.
- The domain name and hosting accounts, in your name and not in ours.
- The database, exportable in an open format at any time.
- The technical documentation and a guide to the administration area.
6. What you can open and check yourself
For this offer we publish no testimonials, no ratings and no project figures. The clients we are free to name are listed on our portfolio page, each with the address of their site. Everything else is live on this site, which we built and run: pre-rendered to HTML, served in three languages including one written right to left, with its own search engines and calculators.
Demonstration apps you can use now
Standalone apps built to show one specific problem solved. Each opens in your browser, with no sign-up.
All of it is open and needs no account. Open it, type in it, try to break it.

Can I outsource software development to Algeria?
Yes. UpGrowth is an Algerian company based in Algiers that builds software for clients abroad. You describe the outcome, we write the scope, quote it in milestones and build it, and the code, the accounts and the data end up in your name.
Who owns the code?
You do. The complete source code sits in a repository you have access to, and the domain, the hosting accounts and the database are in your name, not ours.
How is the price set?
From the written scope. The scope says what gets built, the quote prices it milestone by milestone, and a change of scope is written and priced before it is built. You never pay for hours you cannot see.
How do we pay, and in which currency?
The payment terms are written into the quote: the amounts, the milestones and the method. Before you sign, we confirm with you how an invoice from an Algerian company is settled from your country.
Will you sign an NDA?
Yes. Say so in your first message and the NDA is signed before you share any detail of the project.
Which languages and hours do you work in?
English or French for calls, scopes and documentation, and Arabic when the product needs it. Algiers is on UTC+1 all year: the same time as Paris in winter, one hour behind it in summer, and the same time as London in summer.
Can you take over code another team wrote?
Yes, if we can read it and run it. We start by reading what exists and writing down what we find, and only then quote a change.
Which technologies do you use?
The written scope proposes a stack and explains why. On the web it is usually the kind of stack this site runs on: a JavaScript front end pre-rendered to HTML, an API on the server and a relational database. If you already run a stack, tell us and it becomes a constraint of the scope.
