DUNS number for Google Play: the D-U-N-S for a Google developer account

Why Google Play asks for a DUNS (D-U-N-S) number

• Google asks for the D-U-N-S for a developer account opened in a company's name.
• The D-U-N-S is the nine-digit number that Dun & Bradstreet gives to a company.
• For an Apple account, see its own page: the principle is the same.

The steps with UpGrowth

• You send us the list below and tell us what the number is for: a Google developer account.
• We check Dun & Bradstreet. It takes a few minutes.
• We offer the option or options that are possible, with the price and the timeline. Express comes first when Dun & Bradstreet can issue the number on the spot.
• You confirm the price. We then send the proforma invoice and the payment details.
• The work starts when the payment is received.
• We follow the request until the number is issued.

The three options and their prices

What each option includes

• Express: the number, a check of the Dun & Bradstreet record, its missing fields completed (phone, postal code) and a PDF extract. It is only possible when Dun & Bradstreet can issue the number on the spot.
• Accelerated: Dun & Bradstreet's accelerated procedure, and follow-up until the number is issued.
• Standard: Dun & Bradstreet's own timeline. It is not guaranteed.
• When Dun & Bradstreet has to create the company's record, only Accelerated and Standard are possible. We never promise the same day in that case.

What to send us

• The exact legal name of the company, as on the trade register.
• The RC, NIF and NIS numbers. Or photos of the RC extract and of the NIF and NIS attestations (these are company documents, not personal ones).
• The registered address.
• The manager's name.
• What the D-U-N-S number is for.

Payment

• The work starts when the payment is received, after a proforma invoice.
• The proforma is only sent once the price is accepted.
• Prices are excluding VAT. VAT at 19 % applies to our fee.
• For a cash payment, the stamp duty of the receipt is added.
