  • The Office shall be responsible for:
  • Promote the manufacture, import, distribution and maintenance of orthopaedic appliances, technical walking aids, hearing aids and sanitary aids, as well as all specific products and accessories for disabled persons;
  • Ensure the manufacture and implementation of equipment, accessories and technical aids for persons with disabilities.
  • Ensure, in accordance with the laws and regulations in force, the importation of products related to its object.
  • Ensure the distribution of orthopaedic equipment, technical walking aids, hearing aids and sanitary aids, as well as all specific products and accessories for disabled persons;
  • The Office shall carry out public service obligations with regard to persons with disabilities in accordance with the terms of the specification annexed to this Decree;
  • Carry out any action relating to its purpose, within the limits of its powers and in accordance with the laws and regulations in force;
  • Establish economic partnerships with similar national and foreign bodies;
  • Establishment of subsidiaries in relation to the social purpose of the Office with a view to promoting all activities relating to the manufacture, import, distribution and maintenance of orthopaedic appliances, walking aids, hearing aids and health aids, as well as all specific products and their accessories for persons with disabilities; (and all tasks stipulated in Articles 4, 5, 5a and 6 of Decree No 88-27 of 9 February 1988 establishing a national office for appliances and accessories for persons with disabilities, as amended and supplemented by the provisions of Executive Decree No 14-273 of 29 September 2014).
