- The purpose of the Institute is to:

- The Institute's mission is to contribute to the improvement of the management systems of state and business institutions through education, continuing training and study and research activities, including:

- Within the limits of its tasks, the Institute also provides assistance in the fields of training engineering and pedagogical engineering, including by analysing training needs, developing programmes and defining implementation modalities;
- Within the limits of its tasks, the Institute shall also provide assistance in the fields of pedagogical engineering, in particular through the analysis of training needs, the development of programmes and the definition of implementation modalities;
- In order to carry out its tasks, the Institute is empowered to enter into contracts for retraining agreements, consultation with any employer body;
- It shall be entitled to award any contract and service contract or supply necessary for its activity, in accordance with the legislation in force;
- And all the tasks stipulated in Articles 4 and 5 of Executive Decree No 84-293 of 6 October 1984 establishing and laying down the statutes of the Higher Institute of Management and Planning. Amended and supplemented by Executive Decree No. 07-136 of 19 May 2007.
