  • The institution may also publish, on behalf of the Ministry, any administrative document relating to the management of the religious domain;
  • The establishment "Al Asr" shall perform the public service mission in accordance with the specifications for public service obligations annexed to this Decree;
  • The "Al Asr" institution may, with regard to the promotion of scientific research:
  • Encourage and support any activity compatible with the mission of the institution, proposed by researchers and persons interested in religious research;
  • Encourage the authentication of manuscripts and work towards their publication;
  • Take all measures to make available to students, professors and young researchers specialized works and publications and translated works and manuscripts;
  • Contribute to the preservation of Algerian religious cultural potential and heritage etc. (in accordance with the provisions of articles 2, 3, 4 and 5 of Executive Decree No. 17-169 of 22 May 2017 amending and supplementing Executive Decree No. 98-47 of 8 February 1998 establishing the national establishment of the Islamic editions "Al Asr " and establishing its status).
