  • The introduction of breed cryoconservation techniques for the preservation and development of local breeds of bovine, ovine, caprine, equine, cameline, small-scale livestock breeds and all other breeds of domestic or wild animals for the conservation of the breed.
  • *The centre is responsible for organising and providing assistance to the breeders concerned by its activity, in this context:
  • It shall contribute, in relation to the institutions concerned, to the dissemination of the techniques relevant to its object the organisation of extension companions;
  • It is involved in the development of education and vocational training programmes and in the organisation of traineeships and retraining and further training for breeders and producers.
