Activity contents

• The Agency is the State's instrument for designing and implementing the national policy for the promotion and development of technology parks.
• As such, the Agency has the following tasks:
• Develop and propose elements of a national strategy for the promotion and development of technology parks;
• Design and establish technology parks for national capacity-building to ensure the development of information and communication technologies and contribute to economic and social development;
• Acquire within the framework of the legislation and regulations in force, on behalf of the State, the land necessary for the development, development or extension of technological parks;
• To carry out or cause to be carried out the infrastructure of technological parks;
• Develop annual and multiannual programmes for the development of technology parks;
• To implement the annual and multiannual programmes for the development of technology parks in relation to the various sectors concerned and to monitor and evaluate them;
• Synergising national institutions for higher education and research, industrial development and information and communication technology institutions around technology park development programmes;
• Propose legislative and regulatory measures to promote and develop technology parks;
• Ensure, in liaison with the institutions concerned, the implementation, monitoring and evaluation of commitments arising from the State's obligations in respect of regional and international agreements in the framework of the activities of technology parks;
• To establish the material conditions and infrastructure necessary for the fulfilment of its tasks;
• Publish, publish and disseminate information on information and communication technologies in all media.
