Activity contents

• The Agency's main mission is to establish a national health information system that will ensure the digitisation of medical activities and promote the sharing, exchange, safety and confidentiality of health data among health professionals, health facilities and facilities and users, while respecting medical and professional confidentiality.
• It is responsible for:
• Set up the digital hospital through a patient-centered platform that will give healthcare professionals real-time visibility of the care path in a secure way and a significant improvement in the quality of care by integrating, including patient admission data, clinical data, treatment protocols, medical units and services, intensive care management, the hospital technical platform (the medical analysis laboratory, medical imaging and hospital pharmacy) and the standardization and maintenance of medical equipment;
• To set up the shared medical record, accessible to health professionals by an identifier assigned to each patient and consisting of all the data supporting the exchange, sharing and security of personal data necessary for the medical care of the patient and the coordination of medical care;
• To implement telemedicine, telecare, teleradiology and teleconference for healthcare professionals who can take care of patients remotely, exchange and share data safely, taking particular account of the shortcomings in the provision of care in areas with insufficient health coverage;
• Develop medical training through online platforms, in collaboration with relevant institutions and agencies, to provide medical and paramedical distance training for health professionals and encourage e-learning;
• To create interpretable networks and centres of care at local, regional and national levels facilitating the referral of patients to the most appropriate health facilities and facilities for their hospitalization and care, particularly in emergency situations;

   The activity "National Agency for Health Digitization "Ans"" is free, no prior licence needed. Choose between auto-entrepreneur (ANAE, 5M DZD/year cap for services), sole-trader, single-member LLC (EURL) or LLC (SARL) depending on your project and number of partners.

   For SARL/EURL: notarised articles + share capital. For sole trader or auto-entrepreneur: simplified file. In every case, request the company name then the Trade Register extract from CNRC.

   Tax ID (NIF), social ID (NIS for manager), CNAS affiliation if employees, tax card. You can immediately operate "National Agency for Health Digitization "Ans"" in Algeria without any further ministry-level step.
