Compare CNRC activity codes
The comparison tool puts up to 4 activity codes from the CNRC nomenclature side by side, one column per code. Each column carries the official wording, the 6-digit code, the status (free, regulated or blocked), the sector, the contents of the activity, the authorised accessory activities, the authorisation type, the supervisory authority and the legal references quoted by the CNRC.

The 2026 nomenclature holds 2134 activities: 1640 free, 350 regulated and 144 blocked. Comparing two neighbouring codes before filing avoids picking an activity that requires a prior licence from its supervisory authority, and having to redo the CNRC file.
