Mission

Created in 2020 by spinning off from the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Pharmaceutical Industry oversees local production of medicines and medical devices. It issues pharmaceutical establishment licences (manufacturing, import, wholesale distribution) and drives Algeria's health sovereignty.
